Day 15 | Dream Hopping

I kind of picture it like an attempt to hail a cab in the rain: standing at the corner, looking at all the taxis passing by, wishing I had an umbrella.

On the basis of principle that I survived college without one, I refuse to make the investment in an umbrella. Regardless, I was just standing on a corner in Manhattan drawing metaphors to cabs and dreams.

Day 7 | Talk to Strangers Pt. 1

I was on the Metra right after I returned from the Dominican. My friend Abby was moving into a new apartment, so I was inbound to help her move. New to my Bible, the pages were still crisp, and some color had been added to the pages throughout the summer. I sat on the train, ready to write in my Moleskin and read Jesus Calling for that day.

Day 5 | Geology Puns

I wanted to write something flowery and pretty today, but I got rocks. When I took a random geology class to fulfill science requirements sophomore, I made puns about geology everyday. Day 4 | Meet Fix-it Frankie

Fix-it Frankie and I hung out yesterday, and I realize that I may sound schizophrenic... You may have a "fix-it" alter-ego, too, perhaps. Day 1 | Go Get Your Converse

Although I feel quite ordinary this Sunday afternoon, I feel as if I were on the brink of something quite extraordinary. I have been reading through various writings from the past few months, and I knew that this journey was coming. I knew that I would be weary, and I knew that it would be hard. How strange it is to already know the end of the journey, as well. I am just as curious as to where what shall happen. It could be everything or absolutely nothing, but is that not the best thing to do with a friend: everything and nothing and just be.

During this time of waiting, wait with me in Ireland. I think that is where I shall go this week. Wake up and go get your converse. We are going on an adventure in this Advent.

Thanksgiving | Preparing Hearts

Read through the first and second chapters of Luke a few times to get yourself familiar with the story.

Also, take a moment and just list out the things you are thankful for... This morning, I am thankful for this sadness, a camera, soft light, a dozen roses, and an amazing family coming over this afternoon.
