Day 10 | A Soul Too Beautiful

Quiet Roses | Howth, Ireland | June 2016

Quiet Roses | Howth, Ireland | June 2016

Yesterday was a day where I wrote a lot. I do not usually have drafts of writing, but I know that this is a first. I do not usually write poetry, but for some reason I found myself knee deep in prose. I prayed for a dear friend, one I have prayed for before, so I ask you to join me in prayer for a soul too beautiful.

A Soul Too Beautiful

A Quiet Quiet | Glenbeigh, Ireland | June 2016

A Quiet Quiet | Glenbeigh, Ireland | June 2016

There is a quiet quiet
One that is more than still
It is found in the garden
It lies just up the hill

The summer shines brightly
and in the snow a daffodil
The flowers, they bloom lightly
They lie just up the hill

Do you hear the quiet quiet?
Do you sea the sun gleaming?

There is a soul too beautiful
and her heart is too full
She hears the quiet quiet
yet her eyes they are streaming

There are flowers below
May I take them with me, too?
No, your heart is too full
Their sun is still gleaming

There is a quiet quiet
One that is more than still
She is found in the garden
She sings up the hill

There is a garden there
I know it is true
I must climb the mountain
To see the roses, the view

The roses speak softly
Their thorns they speak, too
Each sings of a garden
Just up past the hill

A crown made of roses
They paint the dawn
The colors they tell me,
"Fear not though night be long"

A mountain
A garden
The roses
The sea

Be still they speak softly
and lead to a cross made of tree

Follow the roses
Cling tightly the hand

Do you speak softly?
Your colors paint the sky?
Just sing of a the garden
Just climb up the hill
