Frances Roskam

To begin, you can go ahead and call me Frankie.

H e l l o !

Nice to meet you - mucho gusto. I am a Chicago-based portrait and wedding photographer who is always accompanied by my trusty Nikon.

Daily, I am found drinking a latte (La Colombe has been my favorite lately - shout out to the barista who introduced me to the oat milk draft latte) and documenting all of life’s moments in between - engagements, weddings, family lifestyle shoots, and all my own travels.

I first picked up a camera on a trip to Asia when I was fifteen and have been shooting ever since. Over the past ten years, I have documented the-graduation-cap-tosses, the-down-on-one-knee-brink-of-tears-proposals, the walk-the-aisle-wedding-days, and the-new-born-yawns. I have sat in the back seat of a car with a young couple calling their parents to tell of their engagement and chattered in Spanish with niños in the dirt of a red, clay soccer field in the Dominican Republic.

With my camera, I have traversed six continents (planning on going to Antarctica someday) and planned styled product shoots. I love sharing life with my clients and getting to know their stories.

If you think I would be a good fit for you, send me a message, and I would love to meet you near your favorite coffee shop or via phone if you are outside of the Chicagoland striking zone.

XO,
Frankie
